POLIWHEELS (commonly known as FLAPDISKS) are mainly used for taking more material away than their sanding disk cousins. They can still be utilized for polishing and smoothing out surfaces using a finer grit, but caution must be made to not dig or cut into the metal. They consist of a composite wheel with small squares of sandpaper, layered on top of the next one. These come in varying grits and sizes, depending on mechanized tools size requirements and what's required to complete the task.
